DIVISION IS MULTIPLICATION BACKWARDS

If you know multiplication, you already know division! For 36/6, ask: 6 times what equals 36? If you know 6x6=36, then 36/6=6. This is called the inverse relationship.

36 / 6 = ?

26 x 6 = 36

= 6
