READING CLOCKS AND UNITS OF TIME

Time is measured in seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years. Key facts: 60 seconds = 1 minute, 60 minutes = 1 hour, 24 hours = 1 day, 7 days = 1 week. On a clock, the short hand shows hours and the long hand shows minutes.

1 hour = ? minutes

11 hour = 60 minutes

21 minute = 60 seconds

= 60
