Quick Multiplication Tips
Double the number. 7 × 2 = 14 (just add 7 + 7).
Count by 5s. Products always end in 0 or 5.
The digits of 9× answers add up to 9. Example: 9 × 7 = 63 (6 + 3 = 9).
Just add a 0! 6 × 10 = 60.
For 1–9, repeat the digit: 11 × 4 = 44. For 10+, add the digits in the middle.
Multiply by 10 then add twice the number: 12 × 7 = 70 + 14 = 84.
